Stephanie Hunt is a Certified Emergency Manager with more than 25 years of experience developing and leading emergency management programs across federal, regional, local, and private sector organizations. She has been recognized widely in the industry, including Airport Business Magazine’s “40 Under 40,” Emergency Management Magazine’s “Major Player,” and the IAEM USA Career Excellence Award.

Stephanie previously served as the Vice President for Preparedness, Resiliency, and Emergency Management at Tidal Basin Government Consulting, where she guided large scale preparedness initiatives, program development, and corporate emergency management strategy. She also served as the first Emergency Management and Preparedness Manager for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, where she built a comprehensive transportation emergency management program that strengthened planning, training, business continuity, and airport wide preparedness.

Her background includes serving as the National Planning Section Chief with FEMA, responding to federally declared disasters, and working as an International Crisis Management Trainer with the U.S. Department of State. She supported embassy leadership in more than 30 countries through crisis management training and exercises. Earlier in her career, she worked at the local level responding to emergencies, directing EOC operations, and advancing community preparedness and resilience.

Stephanie is certified under the DHS Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program and has designed, directed, and evaluated more than 200 domestic and international exercises addressing terrorism, transportation incidents, pandemics, and natural hazards. She has facilitated more than 1500 hours of training in ICS, NIMS, incident action planning, crisis action plan development, business continuity, and continuity of operations.

She is known for her collaborative approach, innovative solutions, strong public speaking abilities, and commitment to high quality service.
