Dominic is a Senior Associate at GoCrisis based in Brisbane, Australia.

With over 20 years of aviation experience, Dominic most recently served as Manager, Group Business Resilience at Virgin Australia. In this role, he led a team responsible for preparing all operational, corporate, and functional areas across the Virgin Australia Group to respond effectively to crisis and resilience-related events. The program he led was comprehensive, encompassing Crisis Management, Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Response, and Contingency Planning.

In parallel, Dominic served as Chair of the International Air Transport Association’s Emergency Response Planning Task Force, a global group of experienced practitioners representing airlines from around the world. In this capacity, he provided leadership and oversight of industry priorities and objectives related to emergency response planning, and helped guide strategic direction, best practices, and industry resources. He also supported the introduction of Emergency Response Planning as a dedicated track at the IATA World Safety and Operations Conference.

In addition to his aviation background, Dominic has experience in another highly regulated and complex industry. He served as Group Business Resilience Manager for The Star Entertainment Group, Australia’s second largest casino operator, where he further strengthened organizational resilience in a dynamic and highly scrutinized environment.

Dominic is a results-oriented professional with extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and the development of business-critical resilience programs. His expertise includes crisis management, business continuity planning, emergency response, contingency planning, and organizational resilience. He is also highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, compliance, and managing complex situations in high pressure environments.
