Greg is a respected emergency management executive with decades of experience leading strategic emergency, continuity, and leadership programs. He holds certifications as a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), and is an internationally certified Incident Command System (ICS) instructor.

Greg has designed and implemented emergency management and continuity programs across a wide range of sectors and global regions. Most recently, he led the development of a comprehensive business continuity program for a major Canadian airline (ULCC), serving domestic and international destinations. He has also managed response and recovery operations for many of the largest disasters in Canadian history and has served as Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Director for hundreds of activations.  His extensive experience supported his achievement of a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership (MCML)

He played a central role in the development of Canada’s National Critical Infrastructure Framework and led exercises responsible for revising the country’s Pandemic Plan. This included the creation of emergency and business continuity processes for infectious disease management, which were applied during the SARS, H1N1, and COVID-19 pandemics.

Greg has contributed internationally as an assessor for the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) and served as President of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). In that role, he was invited to attend Harvard’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative in recognition of his leadership in the field.

As a contributor to international emergency management standards, including ISO 24518 and ISO 22301, Greg also delivers a full range of training for both frontline responders and organizational leaders. He has implemented emergency and continuity programs for Fortune 500 companies in industries such as mining, energy, oil and gas, and power generation. His work has supported the successful rollout of programs in Australia, Europe, the Caribbean, and throughout North America.

Greg continues to foster the development of high-performance teams through Emotional Intelligence training and assessments as a certified coach. He also serves on the board for the Disaster Recovery Institute of Canada, where he supports the advancement of the profession and mentors the next generation of resilience leaders.
