
Janie Moreno brings more than 45 years of experience in emergency response management, crisis call center operations, and large-scale incident support. She has led the development and administration of emergency call centers and crisis media centers, created activation guidelines, and built comprehensive processes and procedures that strengthen organizational preparedness and response.
Her background includes incident data management, deployment coordination, logistics management, and the creation of responder kits and emergency response equipment standards. She has extensive experience designing and delivering training programs, including participant guides, trainer manuals, and presentations. Janie also has a strong technical foundation in telephony and telecommunications connectivity, which supports the seamless operation of complex response environments.
Throughout her career, Janie has cultivated and maintained strong working relationships with key governmental and international partners that include the National Transportation Safety Board, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the US Department of State, US Customs and Border Protection, the UK Family Liaison Office, the UK Metropolitan Police, and the United Nations. She has also collaborated closely with charter companies, contractors, non-governmental organizations, and non-profit agencies.
Janie holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Houston, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She is fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, and she resides in Houston, Texas.
